Ongoing Fund-Raisers at Assumption School

Below is a list of ways that you can help Assumption School raise necessary funds in a cost-free way to you.  Your support is gratefully appreciated.  Know that all benefactors great and small are prayed for at every school Mass throughout the year.  We count on everyone’s efforts, great and small to keep Assumption School growing.  God bless you one and all.

          Great Lake Scrip 

The Great Lakes Scrip center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non-profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers. Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount. Your organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to your organization members for full face value. The bulk of the discount - from two to fifteen percent or more - is retained by your organization as revenue.  Marcelle Witten is coordinating this effort for our school.  Click here to go to the Great Lake Scrip web site and place an order.  If you are a first time user, you will need to create an account.  Be sure to choose Assumption School as the organization.

Box Tops for Education

Box Top labels found on Cereal Boxes and other products. We get money from this fund-raiser to help defray student and teacher activity expenses. Just clip the box tops and put them in the little dishes at the entrances/exits of the church.   Campbell/Pepperidge Farm Products

Labels from Campbell products, Pepperidge Farm, Franco-American, Swanson, V8, Prego, Pace—we are able to get all of our art supplies and more when you send in these labels. The containers are at the parking lot and front entrances to the church. Just clip and drop in.  Annemarie Saba is coordinating this effort for the school.

ShopRite Education Points

Shop Rite School .  Sign up at Shop Rite to earn educational equipment for Assumption School.  There are 2 ways to enroll:      

1:  Stop by the Customer Service Counter at ShopRite and sign up using your Price Plus card.  Assumption school code is 18410.

2: On line @www.shoprite.com/educate.  You will be asked for your 12 digit card number and the school code 18410. 

Please note you must sign up each year, if you have signed up in the past you must reenroll.Once registered, Assumption School will automatically receive credit toward the purchase of educational equipment each time you use your Price Plus card.

Target Visa Cards

When you purchase anything with your Target Visa Card, Assumption School gets a percentage. Go to any Target store and sign up with your Target Visa Card.

Assumption School’s very own cookbooks are available all year round for only $10. Recipes that work and taste heavenly with cooking and household tips included. Recipes are categorized for easy reference. Call the office or come and visit us to purchase one—in stock now.

Inspirations—Gifts for all Life’s Special Occasions

Located at 65 East Center Street in Manchester, they will give us 10% of your purchases at this fine spiritual gift shop. Just tell them it’s for Assumption School. Our ID # there is 101.

Recycle Ink/Toner Cartridges

Recycle your ink jet or toner cartridges by dropping them off in the box outside the school office.  Assumption school is able to trade in the cartridges in exchange for copy paper for use at the school.
