June is a native of Manchester and was brought up in St.
Bridget’s Parish. As an adult she had lived and worked in many parts of the
country while her husband served with the U.S. Navy.
June has taught school in Rhode Island, California, Virginia
and Connecticut. She has worked with all age levels from Pre-K to Grade 6. During
her teaching career June has opened and implemented the educational programs at
a Media Resource Center in an elementary school, taught fifth grade, first grade
and Pre-K. She is a board certified teacher with the State of Connecticut
Department of Education.
June loves teaching Pre-K and seeing how much the children
learn and grow during the first few years of school. It is truly a magical time
in the life of a child! She is very happy to be teaching at Assumption School,
and to be a part of her students’ first school experience.
There are also many interests that June has outside of
school. She loves to travel and go camping with her family and friends. She also
enjoys reading, cooking, bike riding, and horseback riding. June lives in
Manchester with her husband and children.
