Ms. Karen Lavoie

My name is Karen Lavoie.  My passion in life is teaching.  I have taught and/or substituted in every grade level from Pre-Kindergarten to Eighth Grade.  I graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education as my Major and with a Minor in Psychology.  I am certified to teach in the State of Connecticut with endorsements in the following areas: Pre-Kindergarten, 4^th-8^th grade Middle School and K-6^th grade.

I can’t imagine doing anything else which is more gratifying and rewarding then teaching children and learning from them also!

I am presently taking Graduate courses to obtain my Masters in Remedial Reading and Language Arts.
